Although I see the point people are making, i'm still very happy with the setlists so far. At least, although it's the bare minimum, he's changing the setlist every night, which I like. Here's hoping he continues to do so during the whole tour.

Good point! I hope he really will. I little chance of not knowing what comes next is better than nothing!

One thing that gives me some hope is also the fact that some of the US venues are pretty small (1.400 in Seattle, 1.600 last night, 3000 at Oakland and so on..). So maybe these set lists are working perfectly well at those intimate gigs. However, at the bigger halls like in Germany (Cologne, Hamburg, more
than 11.000) maybe Cleaning My Gun comes back, and maybe other stuff!

I read in Isaac's blog that "The finger of Death" as he calls it was pointed at somebody filming last night.

The Finger of Death has been pointed at someone today. Contrary to prior occurrences, Mark didn

Prairie Wedding back is a positive for me... nice!

As for MK stopping to point to someone, I don't really think he should, but then again, as peole have mentioned on this forum in the past, it's his show, he can do what he wants. Whether the setlist is almost static from two years ago, that's his choice. Whether he wants to stop to show disapproval, that's his choice too. Indeed, any honest fan should know that he would prefer not to have video cameras, and therefore they should refrain.

Another thing though - it's also fair to say that a lot of people are paying a lot of money for tickets (

Very well put Rollergirl, I agree wholeheartedly with you.

I'm not quite in agreement with niiice1 though I'm afraid in that I don't think it's just his show but it's also the fans show too and this is unfair to those "behaving themselves" like good boys and girls! :)

Rollergirl put it exactly in the right words!

And to use the terms from Niiiiiiiiice1, which opinion I totally respect (and which nickname is really great ;)):

It is my choice to not buy tickets anymore for the next tour! My decision is made. These eight months between dates announcement, ticketing and the start of the tour build up extreme expectations every time. Now it seems the 2008 tour is just continued. And for the top of the iceberg is MK wearing even the same clothes than 2008... I know that is totally unimportant but hey, not for me. A show is something where something is SHOWN, and to expect some visual variety if not musical, is something I think I have the right to. Also everybody who listens to the first note of Speedway knows exactly that in 25 minutes he will have heard the last tone of Brothers because it is all exactly the same as 2005 and 2008.  I posted something like this on Guy's forum this morning, and i am sure I will get an unfriendly sentence from him about the set list stuff! Sorry, Mrs. President!

To be positive, too: If  I see it right, these first six shows had all different set lists. So that might be a good sign for the tour indeed! Maybe that is the
plan, to vary the set list really on every show. And if you are lucky, you get CMG, and if you are not, you have to listen to DWB or R. ... (let's hope R. is banned forever.)

I think your missing a very important thing here Love Expresso.. Of course it is an individual point of view, but I think the reason for why you (all of us actually) attended MKs concerts in the first place was because of his music.. He has never had that kind of a show has he...? Even with Dire Straits...?

When I want to see a show, I go to see whoever it is having a show.. And, when I want to listen to music, I go to concerts with people like - for instance - MK...

But I do agree 100% with you Rollergirl, about "the finger of Death"... Sad, sad story...
