Since I have listened over and over its the outro I can't get out of my head. Somthing sounds so familier to me.  :think
Now I get it. Sounds a lot like "Les Boys".  ;D
This is all the heaven we've got right here where we are in our shangri-la.

A very nice, albeit sad / bittersweet, song.
I wonder if this was the destiny that MK feared awaited him if DS had not broke through.

There is also the line 'i will be gone down the road'

Maybe it was left out because there was already an album title track in One song at a time (almost the same line there)

That's true! But I couldn't find it in my head :)

It reminds to me to some melodies on the Local hero musical, at least the intro.

The lyrics seems very interesting for me, please, all of you English native, what do you think this song could be about it? For me is talking about a musician, maybe him?, chasing his dream... but I didn't understand the whole song yet...

FLAC HD 24-bit from Qobuz :wave

Appreciate the gesture but I've removed this to stop the forum getting into trouble over copyright/piracy laws. :)

I like it on first listen.

Some different stuff going on.

The playout is cool.

Seems to be about the gentrification of a music town making it too expensive for the musos to live there? But where? London? Nashville? Portland?

Very nice track indeed  - like you say the playout is amazing!

I’m also curious. I think it’s a classic MK mix of a character story with some auto-biographical influences and some history/place/fantasy. I have it on repeat since yesterday, magical song it is! I still can’t believe this was shelved until now.

Guy’s outro sounds remind me a bit of 5:15 from the 2013 tour.

And that guitar… Pensa + Reinhart? Or the Kemper again? I love that the intro guitar sound has not been overloaded with delays and reverb.

Is there a chance to read the text?

Is it about Dylan again? Dylan doesn't really wear a trilby mind...
