No National guitar on Tracker?
« on: March 19, 2015, 12:26:10 AM »
So I listened whole 18 songs and there is no any signs of National guitar. Surprisingly enough.

But it's a sweet surprise for me. Kill To Get Crimson was almost killed with that guitar all over, so thanks God he left it in case on Tracker.

Sounds like his Martin, or the guitar he used for Get Lucky. It's definitely an acoustic guitar, or I'd be deaf
If i was a Fender guitar, Fender painted red...

You are right of course. I mixed it up with the beginning of Silver Eagle. All from my mind so therefore I am not sure with that one either.

Can be easily confused with the 'mini' Martin..

It's an ordinary acoustic tuned in really low Dropped C tuning. Check it out:

By the way, it's the first time when Mark used such a strange tuning on acoustic guitar, he used regular Dropped D before, but that's low!

No National on Long Cool Girl (rhythm electric + slide electric + pretty 'nasal' acoustic confuse with National a little bit). But I'm not sure.

Certainly no National on Lights of Taormina.

Certainly no National on Wherever I Go (it's Terz guitar).

Seems like Martin Mini Terz guitar replaced National completely. Waiting for next album cover with Terz guitar up in the sky! LOL.

And boy, I love how it sounds. I almost get a nauseated with National to be honest. Too much of that last time.
