Nice idea, but you clearly chose the wrong artist for doing things like that. MK didn't even give greetings to Isaac, a man who followed ALL shows of the Get Lucky tour,

MK did sign the gift to Isaac on the last show.
Being front of stage I was personaly lucky enough to handshake Mark twice at the RAH at the end of the show

he rarely gives autographs as he used to do in earlier years - he doesn't even stop the Limousine while driving by at a group of fans waiting in the pouring rain - really, there are better artists out there when it comes to friendly fan treatment - i guess in a way everyone who attends one of his shows is a get-a-lifer or at least a rudiger in his eyes....

Mark only stops now if there are less than 10 (or even 5) people waiting otherwise he doesn't. Have to be at the right place at the right moment...and alone!

No, not really private.   He asked us what we had been doing since we last met (which we hadn't) and when I regained the power of speech, I managed to say that we had been to a lot of his concerts and enjoyed them all, which he said he was very pleased to hear.  My husband was far more composed than I was and asked him about how he was feeling about the concert that evening.  I can't remember another thing - not even saying goodbye, because we were both so astonished at what had just happened!  I do remember that a traffic jam had built up behind his limo - it was rush hour - and there was a lot of hooting of car horns!   :lol

A year later, we went to Pagham to see The Bluesclub Band and suddenly, there was Danny shaking our hands!  He had also been in the car with MK.   He said it was nice to see us again - I couldn't believe he had remembered us after all that time!  I asked him why Mark had stopped the car to speak to us in Newcastle and he said he had recognized us.   I personally think, because it was Newcastle, we were people he thought he knew from his life there, but whatever, it was very special to us and we will never forget it!   :)

What a nice memory !!! I

Even when there are only 2 people (I was in Basel 2007 showcase with only 1 person more) he doesn't always stop. In 2008 I was lucky to catch him on other places (also Newcastle  :)) And in 2010 he signed my iPhone in Amsterdam  ;)
So indeed right time, right place. Even when you're only alone or with just a couple of people

Ah, the iPhone story! That was a  great day! I wanted Mark to sign my arm, but I wasn't allowed to go inside the HMH with him  :(

I just forget about this...

Is Amazon UK or any shop from the OK offering that special codes for the presales of the British concerts?

As I have RAH in my desired concerts to attend, it would be important...

Yes I saw this.
I ran towards Stage and tried also but he did not come back.
Will never forget.

But I got my handshake 2001 in Oberhausen. And there we were maybe 15-20 people...

I don't think so...

The tour lasts from April to July
That's it. With lots of european dates. Maybe more days off.

Aah, yes, the Amsterdam kick off, so much more exciting then the Brussels kick off in 2006...
Standing at the stage door with all the usual people, listening to that world championship football game (was it holland?) on the radio and hearing the goals seconds before the people sitting in the pubs all around us saw it on their digital tv's. And then marks' arrival, the signing, I gave my passport but he was "scared" to sign it.... :'(
I last shook his hand half a century ago,... Ronnie Scott's 1999... ;(
I remember having planned to ask soooooooo many things, only to stand there with shaking knees and babbling some shit....  :lol
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....
