Exactly Dutchessy, that was where some fans ruined it for us all with the tripods  :'(
I hope I will remember to check if I have a recording tomorrow, my extra harddisk is at the office at the moment

I recall Marijn telling me that story on the Amsterdam second night... Couldnt believe my ears.
You might get lucky, now and then

Yes, the filmers told me to be quiet in front of stage, because they were filming  :disbelief :disbelief

Tripods weren't the problem first until they lifted the tripods and moved them under MK's nose  :disbelief
I think that was the limit for MK, second night it was forbidden to film, still some recordings, but 3rd night was impossible to film because of security.

I was in front of the stage, a little to the left but didn't see a bag full of DVD's

And the best video of the 2008 tour is made the 3rd night by Waldo ;) There is a 20GB version of it on the tracker.

Yes, the bluray. Unluckily, the sound is not very good on it  :-\

Haha, remember we had to save Waldo? When he came to him, I believe you can hear PC talking on this video

Mmmm, Dublin...

I also like that!
Wherever it is I will like and I hope I can go !  ;D
I can't believe there were no recordings of the 3 last kick off shows.  :'(

2008 there is, or am I really wrong. 2010 was US, not recording and 2011 with BD was Dublin and I didn't check if there was a recording made

Sorry for not being precise.  :-[
I was not thinking of 2008 but 2010 North America, 2010 Europe and Dublin 2011.  :)
It's good to read comments on the 2008 kick off. It gives strength and motivation.

Sorry but the 3rd night's bluray was made by someone else ;)
and I filmed the encores for that, coz that person, could not run across the first rows of chairs fast enough. And behind me I could here Paul crockford telling Waldo to stop filming, but I was too deep in the mass of people. Great night! And first they said, standing show, then we entered, running and saw all those chairs, confusion! Then they'd said "no filming" but when we asked again, it was ok,so Waldo ran outside again to go get his camera,...aaah what a night...
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

What an epic night ! Behind each recording there's a wonderful unknown story.

First 3 nights of 2008 (Amsterdam and Rotterdam) were really epic, but it ended with no filming allowed anymore. That's a pity!

I remember filmed the first Hill Farmer's blues the first night and the first Devil Baby (on a tour) the second night.

I love your paradoxal rule, I agree 100% and it's the only rule in the world I don't want to break. ;)

Of course not, and I would never condone the filming of any MK show whatsoever. ;)
