Finally received my CD from markknopfler.com. Am completely addicted to this album! I have not had a reaction like this to any album for a very long time. But still...  this album has a full circle, put a lid on it feel to it. If I didn't know how much MK loves the musical process, I would begin to worry that it is his good-bye.

Can't get warm with Lights Of Taormina. Together with Wherever You Go the only two songs that are in danger to be skipped from time to time.

Because

they are just BORING!

The chorus seemed nice at first but now I find it a bit dull. And I'm not a big fan of the tralala-songs from The Beatles either so, yeah...

I agree on the Hot + Beryl to that list. All other songs would be in lukewarm or cold

.... you feel. And I can assure you that our Superval doesn't feel old, doesn't look old, doesn't act old.
Some weeks ago we had an excellent time in Bury, having dinner and seeing John, John and Mike.
But a pity for you dear Zeeley, she has a lovely husband  :)

Incredible how much diversity and differing opinions of people we have on which tracks they like more. (Anticipating the setlist moaning that will start with the beginning of the tour, it becomes clear once more for me that any setlist will produce the same amount of moaning...)
