someone (sorry can't remember who and in which thread) told recently that the MFN riff was played in Coyote in 2010
I have listened to several versions and can't find one
I only hear the melody from "on Broadway", that he also played in Calling Elvis
Does anybody remember a Coyote version with the MFN riff ? thanks

There are many.
Actually in Hill farmer blues he also plays some seconds of Tunnel of love solo.

Pleasure! It was coincidence because I just discovered it last week or so by myself and then remembered that there was talk about it on AMIT some time ago. I think it is pretty cool that MK used Coyote to do these little improvisations...

I think that MFN in Coyote was a volontary quote, whereas these notes in HFB are common in his playing, so not directly a TOL quote :think

the mfn riff as immediately recognisable back then, imho. love it when he does that...
