Full circle with the River Tyne

Southbound again
Don't know if I'm going or leaving home
...
Oh, every single time
I roll across the rolling river Tyne

It's moving (and really classic Mark Knopfler) that the first Dire Straits album features Southbound Again, about him riding the train across the River Tyne, and One Deep River concludes back at the same place, again with the River Tyne. I've always enjoyed Southbound Again, but this gives it even more meaning now.

in my article I pointed out that the Tyne was the landscape of the first song in the first DS album (down to the waterline), and the last song of the last(?) MK album.... ok we all hope this is not his last one, but....

Great observation; the Tyne makes more than one appearance in the Dire Straits album.
