I just thought of this. If I'm in a very happy enthusiastic mood. Why would I play KTGC? If I have a free Sunday and I'm reading a book, I'd play it. Or for studying. Just thinking out loud. The puzzle pieces now fall in the right places.

Must say I like this song very much. It's got a nice melody, great singing by Mark als well as Ruth and multiple soli with this awesome Les Paul tone and a proper sax. Superb!

I think it's not realistic to expect every new MK tune to be the best thing you've ever heard. Just be carefull with expectations and enjoy MK still making wonderfull records. So thumbs up for this one again, thank you Mark and keep them coming!

My guess it's only for the RAH dates with Nigel and Ruth.

Stimmt, that's what I think as well. I was planning to buy a stick from one of the RAH gigs, so it would be a nice addition, I hope.

Was thinking that last night but then thought it may not be a very good "live song."  I'm surprised to hear it's on the provisional list.

Been thrashing this all day and I have finally cracked IT!

Are the RAH dates available from this tour? From memory i don't think they were last tour.

Have to say I've listened to it twice now. My 1st thoughts were of course it sounds very similar to 'In the sky' which for me isn't a bad thing, as I fell in love with that the 1st time I heard it on KTGC. Ruth's voice is beautiful, & reminds me of Cara Dillon, who has the voice of an angel. Also of Alison Krauss in places. I like the sax, but too similar to 'In the sky' imho. Les Paul is of course delicious, but I'd like Mark to experiment more with the licks & solos, as he does tend to stick to the same formula.
All in all I've heard two songs from Tracker so far, & I'm very pleased. My only fear from watching the 5 minute short film, is that there maybe a Sonny, Lonny slide guitar type of song, or a Bonaparte, which would not necessarily be my cup of tea. Time will tell.
Cheers.  BBB

Very well put, BBB, although I don't like the sax.

I have been listening to the song a few times and .......I like it very much!  ;D

Thank you for posting the lyrics, it makes listening a bit easier! I agree with some people that the song is a little bit slow, BUT it isn't disturbing!

Would be great to hear this song life! :P

I only wonder what that Review meant by calling this duet Celtic or what was he saying..

LE

Maybe he was comparing it to "Sons of Scotland" from "A Shot At Glory"?    That was what came into my mind when I heard it on the short film.   ;)
