Just been out of the house for 3 hours, coming home and finding this:

DOUBLE ALBUM!!!!

After all those years! I am dreaming of a MK double album since I am a fan! It's soooooooooooooooo great! Sounds all very intellectual!! Very interesting
song titles, very untypical Knopfler style!!! Yon Two Crows?? Gator Blood?? Dream of the Drowned Submariner???  I think we will be in for a treat!

Thinking about the new cover motive:

The picture could be seen as the total opposite of the message in the Privateering lyrics:

"See how trim she lies"

It seems the song could as well be about Europe and about everything that is broken these days and that in earlier times it was much easier to get through with life and stuff. So the picture has a certain typical MK kind of (black) humour in it, don't you think?

Could be totally wrong though...

Holy cow! Am still totally excited because I saw Springsteen for the first time last night and he completely blew me away with a three and a half hour set, and now I read these news! A double album, OMFG!! This will be another sleepless night for me! Cover reminds me of "Into the Wild"  ;D

Yes! This is great news. Been out this night and then coming home having a text message from a fellow fan with this news. Can't wait to see the official announcement.

Again they are behind. It must be some marketing failure. But good news for us. YEAH!!!

Yeah, you are right, I found end edited the title that was named at Guy's forum, My Irish Heart.. But MK maybe changed the title, who knows, it seems he works on it really until the last second...
