Are you willing to go the US to attend some Bob/Mark shows? Cool... Somenhow I remember you as one of those always complaining about Bob... my mistake...

For my part, what  I need now is Privateering track lengths, mp3 snippets, leaked material and finally complete 2013 MK Across Europe Tour Dates!!!  8)

Sounds great!
When will we be able to see it to?
Does he mention anything about the new album?

Yeah... that's a mistake.  ;)
I clearly always have something to complain about (security, part of Bob's fans, loud sound, recording policy, Crocky, ... ) but surely not about Bob. ;D
About the US tour, I first thought I had no chance to go there, better get revenge on the Europe tour and do something like 15-20 dates, mostly in june/july.
Problem is : I'm already like a lion in cage and I'm afraid the European tour may be earlier than usual, right after the US tour. If there's nothing in June / July, I'm f... and have to wait for 2015. Anyway, I'm having such a harassing year I urgently need an escape. Not sure I can afford it though... I'll have to be lucky on the dates but I trust Bob's organization more than Crocky's. :P

Just watched it on Sky HD.
A thoroughly interesting programme, made of course even better by seeing a very well looking Mark Knopfler talking & performing.

He's da man! 8) 8) 8)

I tried the links of Marky and Ustas, but it doesn't work here in the Netherlands!

I hope you will have time in future and be able to post the programme Dusty!
By reading your comments I am getting curious and would like to watch as well!  ;D

Oh great. The tour is confirmed. Yee-haw.  ::)

Well, whatever MK pleases. I just hope there will be a little album promo tour in Europe, too... Would be nice to catch him somewhere sometime in autumn.

Hi there,

1) MKNews has updated the news and informs us now about Hay and the TV broadcast

2) Hi and welcome Stratmad! Nice to see new members posting here! Where are you from (in Germany I mean?) Been to any MK shows - if you don't mind telling us?

LE

Me again, after spending a frustrating afternoon trying to join Sky :-(  But it's great to see how quickly this forum reaches everyone, and thanks for the warm welcome!
I'm in south Germany, and have been a fan since BIA. I try to see as many shows as I can of course, the last one was with BD in Zurich - wonderful, but a wee bit too short...

Lars, if I understood Dusty correctly, Mark did some acoustic solo versions of STP and Done With Bonaparte.  ;)

He played short extracts.  The show was about books,  so he was demonstrating how he is inspired by books.

Did he played a song?

Like Dusty said, he mainly talked about books that have inspired him, but his chat was interspersed with little snippets of 3 songs. Sailing to Phil, Done with Bon, & Sonny.(whilst still seated with an acoustic)
He seems to take these 3 songs wherever he goes now :-\ ;D
Of course I like these 3 songs, but I won't be disappointed if he doesn't leave them behind on his next tour, in favour of some rarely played gems or new songs.

Cheers. BBB

Btw. For all you red hot blooded girlies out there, just to warn you if you get the chance to see this, Mark was looking HOT, HOT, HOT!!!!!!!!! :-* :lol :-* :lol
