I don't know exactly, I was kind of surprised at how "short" he was whan I met him, but that happens a lot as I am 6' 4". I would have guessed he was about 5' 11"/6'.

He may be taller than we think. He is a little "hunched" on stage I suspect.

Re the Clive James question.............

I spent bloody ages last night, tring to find the answer to this question.
I knew it was on the programme, 'Clive James Goes Country'
I finally tracked it down to the OUATITTV no. 19.
I watched the whole show, only to still not find out the track name.
I also only got the 1st line, which was...........
"If love means brushing someone elses hair"
But didn't think this was the actual title track. But i was obviously wrong. :'(

Great to watch again anyway. ;D

Cheers  BBB
And a crowd of young boys they're fooling around in the corner

Yes it was a great show, and good to see Chet Atkins too, and what a gorgeous solo Mark plays, as Clive said just before it "And then Mark showed me why he had sold 130Million albums and I hadn't!!"lol
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

I've been told that he is 6' = 1.83m. But sorry no proof here. So Dusty, your turn...

MK 1.83m?
No way, I'm 1.82 and I am definately taller than he is.
But he plays better guitar than I do, so that equals out   :D :D :D
