JF, in your opinion, what could be a possible next single?

I'd say that "Before My Train Comes" has a catchy melody, but too much country-folk for radio I think...

"Smart Money" has the typical MK guitar sound, but too slow for radio I think...

"Janine" has a catchy chorus, but again I find it a little bit to much slow/low key for a single

other songs are also too much calm-knopflerish-style if you see what I mean. It's like you would have released Sucker row as single for example  :lol

with already 3 singles, I'm not sure there will be another one  :think

OK, thank you.  And how do you see Scavengers Yard?  You said it has a beat like Broken Bones, so it's up-tempo, right?

Yes. Indeed, could be a single in the vein of a mix between Broken Bones / Good on you son

Thanks so much JF.  I already have a very specific idea of the album.  I think I'll like it a lot.  Thanks again JF!!

I'm very curious about the bonus tracks.
Mostly they are very good. Some of them even much better than 2 or 3 tracks on the regular album.
This is all the heaven we've got right here where we are in our shangri-la.

Oh, i like these early impressions of a new album someone gives us! Thanks alot, JF! I can almost hear the songs through your descriptions!

But the reason i'm typing this, has nothing to do with your nice review.
While reading through your text, i stumbled over the word "leitmotiv".
I'm a native German speaker and i know exactly what the word means, but i'm curious about how you pronounce it :D And: What would be the French or English word for it?
It's funny to see German words in other languages like "Kindergarten", "Waldsterben", "Hinterland", "Wunderkind" or "Zeitgeist" :D

in french we pronounce "leitmotif" with an FF in the end
I think the word became "international" so to say

Same in Spain, we use leit motiv, sounding FF at the end, it's adapted in normal Spanish as other foreign words.
You might get lucky, now and then
