I think that this will be only on vinyl, although information from some record store about CD was on this forum earlier.

But it is good to note that it is possible that not every store have this EP.

In the end it means that the fans who really want a copy will either have to hope and pray to find a copy, or pay extortionate prices on e-bay later. I suppose there are way more than 3,000 MK fans world-wide who will want a copy, so there's no reason to limit it like that.
