Come on, guys.

Bonamassa is a great player.
His fast licks has a name: style
One thing is to like his songs, another thing is desconsider him as  great player.
He is a blues-rock player and he likes big tone and fast runs.
If anyone here would try to play fast licks on a blues progression, very often we would play a fast run like JB.

But, to pay attention on him just because everyone thinked tht his part on LH was played by Eric... Well, at least, he got attention.

Beautiful! It's really amazing how much work Guy has been putting into all this, and the photos are very nice, too!
MK is now one of very few artists with TWO blue plaques  :thumbsup

Just went through the diary. Great reading, and great pics, too.
And I've watched the video for the third time (never thought I would do this before) but it's sooo great.  Hats off to Guy, what a genius!  :thumbsup :clap
This is all the heaven we've got right here where we are in our shangri-la.

GF:

A few years earlier, in 2016, Mark and I had recorded, together with many of his band, a series of ‘demos’ of songs written by Mark specifically for the ‘Local Hero – The Musical’ project. Among them was a full-length recording of the main Going Home theme that, to this day, remains unused

Remarkably, the track would end up having 54 different mix versions!

Great story. Thanks Guy

Quote from Steve Vai:

"In this new video that was made for 'Going Home', the names of all the various guitar players come onto the screen when their riffs are played. It’s so beautiful to hear all the different and distinct tones that match the players. I was honored beyond beyond when I received the invitation to contribute to this historical track. Check out the new video for 'Going Home'."

High praise from Steve there, it just shows me the respect Mark has from other great players.
same goes for Joe Satriani, i remember his praise for DTRW
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....
