Nice work! I would like to hear the lead guitar a bit more! And the last two posts from your first post were taken down ! Why?

great !
are you the lead guitarist or the lead singer/guitarist ?

did I see coorectly : are you (or the other guitarist) playing Sultans with a pick :o
if it's the case, some people would say it's blasphemy, but I'd say that I 'm glad not being the only one on earth to play DS songs with a pick  :wave

I don't think he used a pick! Certainly he wasn't placing his fingers like MK, (2 fingers glued on the pick guard) but he used fingers. Or not?

Hi JF,
I'm sorry to let you down, but I do play with my fingers only  :)
I have to admit that my right hand style looks a bit unorthodox, but usually I play with my II-IV fingers and save my thumb for those special runs like in Sultans or Lady writer..
I also like to hit the strings like I would use a pick altough my fingers doesn't like that so much.

Do you have any songs of your own? Even in your language? Also turn up the volume Geopardo. If you fear that some mistakes would be audible, just think that the nice parts you are playing are missing as well!  May I suggest that you try some songs that might work better with Silvertown's voice? Silvertown you have a unique (almost falcetto) voice. Reminds me a bit of this: http://youtu.be/hOr8Ua9Z9FA
Why not try to make a redition (not a note for note) of DS songs in order to work better with your voice?

Hi,

Well I think that I cannot sing at all but someone has to do it :) In that gig we had pretty good live sound but the placement of Geopardy's amp mic changed during the gig and made the sound poorer.

arrghh...so I'm the only one..... :smack

I see, sometimes you are making a "virtual pick" with you thumb and your index, just to have a little more attack ,right ?
Marks does this very often (1st part of Tunnel of love, end chords of Money for Nothing, intro in So far away....)

all in all, your playing is great ! and Silvertown yours is too ! :)
