Sooo happy....my book arrived today!  :D
It has only taken 6 days from day of order till delivery. It really looks great. Lots to read and great pics. It's worth all the money.
This is all the heaven we've got right here where we are in our shangri-la.

So the PDF is doing it for me.

This catalogue is amazing for any MK guitar aficionado. Really well researched with reliable sources (Mr. Saggers, Ron Eve, Rudy Pensa, John Suhr, MK himself), including great pictures and relevant documentation. To have something like that for all MK guitars would be a dream. Too bad it took MK selling some of his treasures to be able to obtain this high quality document. It's probably not fair to compare but I dare to say it is better than John Illsley's book! At least I have more fun digging into it than when I had reading John's book.
...Well, he's a big star now but I've been a fan of his for years. The way he sings and plays guitar still bring me to tears...

And the funniest thing it's not even that hard to make. Just ask some folks a few questions to get first-hand evidence, package it with fitting images and voila — a great book is born. Don't get me wrong, it's a great job, and highly professional. But I too wish to have something about "unreleased" guitars. Let's dream.

I would go one step further and make a video with the sound demonstration of each guitar, and most importantly, the sounds it made on the record. This is, after all, the purpose of an instrument, right? You play and listen to it, and not watch images. Looking at photos of guitars is like showing a drowning man a picture of a scuba tank.

There's really no question that this is better than John's book, which was fine.

Obviously some recency bias on my part, but for me this is unquestionably the finest book so far released relating to MK/DS (jbaent and DMG a close second :) )

I'll take that.  😉
