I got a summer job, after being out of work for almost a year. So no matter how good the weather is I can only complain about being to hot (42 ) to work.  ;)
No the weather is fine from March to November, with 20 days of high temperatures during the summer. But we get some snow and low tempratures during the winter time. All in all it is not raining all the time and if you have time and money to spend it is like heaven.  ;)
Dutchessy, if you consider coming or moving, it is the best place in the world that I know of. (and being modest about it  ;D )
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

Have been in Greece 1 time (2007). Plakias, Kreta(Crete), for 15 days summer holiday. It was nice but very hot....

Dutchessy, you have been to one of the most beautiful places in Greece, but at the same time one of the hottest! Crete has an almost tropical weather, only saved by the fact that it is an island. It is the only place in Greece where they grow bananas! But it is great most of the year, when it is not so hot.

It is a strange thing, the weather, that proves that the global climate is changing: we had two heatwave s with high temperatures, but what makes it worse is that we have high humidity at the same time. Athens used to be the idea place in the last century, to bring people with tuberculosis to heal, because it had a mild climate with very low humidity. Now these extremely hot days you can't breath and at the same time the sun burns your skin from second one!!!

Still, in September it is very nice and if any of you happen to be in Greece, I will be more than happy to meet you and listen to the new album together. And some older for that matter, or even from other artists!!!  ;D
Come on, it is not funny anymore.

So far only ingridswing confirmed to come over to Delft on Saturday September 1 in the afternoon to share the experience of listening to Privateering for the first time (unfortunately Pottel had to cancel). I think this fantastic forum can do better than this. So, who is going to join us that afternoon for a great experience. I'll take care of lunch and/or dinner if you'd like that. BTW, I won't be listening to any snippets or (leak of) the album before the first of September.

I understand it's far away, but it would be great if you could make it. ingridswing will be in Delft around 13:00, so there's plenty of time to get back home.
