I'm a bit scared, initially I only bought a Paris ticket, then I added Clermont in the hope of getting more songs... now the one I would like to get is KOG with Ruth as it was not played in Paris... but it has been played in both Rennes and Caen... so I hope I did not manage to go to the only 2 french concerts without KOG... :/
If anybody is interested, I have an extra ticket for tonight !

Sultans, Speedway and TR were always the three highlights for me at MK concerts, mainly for the great guitar on them, now it looks as though two of them will be gone by the time the next tour comes around. :'(

Here is my review:
Despite the lack of Speedway, it was a terrific show. At least for me...
Thanks to Tunnel85, I could get a much better seat than expected - 3rd row, not centered but next to an exit, so an excellent view.
Thanks to Dutchessy, who was not there but supported me by SMS, I could meet with Ingrid, Knoplferized, ds1984, and others, and have a nice drink together with Tunnel85 and Isaac. At last, I could meet physically with other AMITers ! :)
Ruth's part was enjoyable, if not essential, as usual. She came in a pretty red dress than made french guys - and perhaps girls- whistle in admiration :) She gave us some french clich

Why Mark dropped Sultans for this is an absolute mystery to me.
It's beyond me why everybody thinks Mark "replaces" Sultans for some other songs. Should he do a 9 Minute break instead, playing nothing? The lack of Sultans leads to the "next" song automatically, whatever he plays next! ;D

It seems that after saying many times that the old songs are milestones for people, he wants to try and see if people are now grown up enough to live withtout these milestones and finally ready to accept him as a solo artist, not as DS's former leader. Oh well...
He does say that quite a lot in interviews, doesn't he. Pretty obvious now that he doesn't mean it, I'm sorry to say. :disbelief

I remember him telling that Sultans was a milestone in people's life and therefore he was not feeling to be allowed to change it - the twiddly bits and stuff, not so much about not playing it anymore...

<sigh> ...and I was hoping for my first MK show WITH SOS. :'( :'(
(I have only seen two MK shows -- both in 2012 ...no SOS there, either)
