thanks for the initiative lars, i just fail ot see the point; we already have this "general discussion" part on the forum;.. 
I thought it`ll be fun to have just one topic where you can talk about all sorts of things instead of opening a topic for it....
I think this is gonna be a mess then, if you want to be part of some topic and you "title" it, you know where to talk about.
This topic is like a giant Pub with everyone talking about anything and in the end nobody knows anymore, but if you name it as a topic title you can see it like an door in a Pub, open the door if you like the topic otherwise you leave it closed and open another door.
It's a fun idea to have some sort off pub, but maybe we can change the name "General Discussion" to "AMIT Pub" then?
Maybe that's an idea Pottel? (If this is possible)
