My money is on the fact that "Lights of Taormina" will be the best song of the album  :)

MediaMarkt has listed the Henrik Hansen interview to be just 5:18 minutes. In the deluxe box.

Whoo! Thanks!

But it's the interview and the shortfilm is still, well short.

Yes, ridiculously short. Maybe it's a game about time, as Mark says, time seems to be important for the theme of the album, so, well.. .

Where exactly is this nice beachhouse? Not asking to stalk him, I never cared about the geographics of his private life, but the area in the first part has such tremendous resemblance with the area I live in, (but without these gorgeous trees) that I really wonder.. the flooded area expecially..

and is he really able to do the distance from that place to British Grove on a scooter?  ;)

Also, I changed my mind about which song could be that one with the nice Gibson solo (and the sax part). I mentioned that the solo sounds as an outro of the album so I thought it could be "Wherever I Go", but now I go for "Long Cool Girl" - that was the song compared to Romeo & Juliet, right? And I think this little part has pretty much of the second half of the live-version of Romeo - even a sax part..

Mark is shown exactly as the old grumpy man, as grumpy as he describes Basil Bunting.. this deep voice, the clothing.. I love that.
And on Basil, when he sings "grumpy as hell", the guitar makes that grumpy sound - could be the blue pensa?

Basil has a great concept as far as I can judge it by now - no wonder he seems to like to talk about it so detailed...

Mark portrayed as a young man, naive, happy, energetic, "up for the world", meeting that grumpy old poet... finding out he has written that masterpiece "Briggflatts" - now, from the point of view of being old (and somewhat grumpy?) himself, he writes about it, finally understanding what Basil was about, "to "to have time to think about time"..

I have difficulties to find a song with similar depth on Privateering, this one seems to be in the same league as 5.15am..

Wow, can't wait. And the connection with the opener seems to be there, didn't Mark say "Laughs & Jokes and Drinks & Smokes" was about him young and "up for the world", too?

I guess it will be pure bliss to listen to the album as a whole..

Well, maybe they put the best 3 songs of the album in this short movie... :P

Maybe all the other songs are blues songs :lol

The beach house is at The Solent strait, just google it and look at the maps where it is, not very far from Illsley's pub.
You might get lucky, now and then

Anybody noticed that this particular shot from the short film could be even more appropriate for cover than official one? :lol

 foma, :thumbsup

I personally like soft blue-grey-white-green color of this shot much more then blue-yellow color of the official cover.
...yes I need a little water of love...
