My guess is May.

The musical starts in Edinburgh in April and they will have to check if it works or needs any new song or change any of the songs during their starting weeks, so at the end of April, which is when the musical leaves Edinburgh, MK would be free from this commitment, but...

The musical starts in London in June, I think about the 20th, and London is with NY one of the main cities in the world for the musicals so seems logical to think MK will have to attend at least the premiere, and then, free again for touring.

So my guess: Tour starts in May, with a small gap of some days in June to attend the premiere of the musical and then back to touring.

Do you think there is also a possibility he will tour the US first. From the last week of june untill the end off july and after the break in August/september start his European leg off the tour  .
With this schedule he can full focus on the musical untill it’s up and running in Londen.

Not that he does many festivals but i get your point. Now i think off it, a few weeks back Guy replied on a question about festivals that MK is not that into festivals.  But he always does a few on tour that is true..

I dont’t think Tommy is on the record since he was at British Groove for a really short time. Besides that, guests were almost always singers (Sting, Van Morrison, James Taylor, Ruth), only Sonny Landreth played lead guitar on one track (+ one bonus track).

Tommy and MK recorded the song TE released in just one take, and MK played it to Tommy once before they recorded. Whatever Tommy played or sung for the Mk record probably was just an overdub, so in the time Tommy was there he could had played and sung in several songs easily
