i am on demonoid too, but it is not really used for music recs, rather for official stuff of any sort, games, music etc. bit like the piratebay, to be used with caution, as a lot of malware is included in the uploads.

So is it useless for us? 

I saw it so bigger that thought it will be useful for are recordings, dvds etc as other trackers.

you mean for us to spread shows?
in theory, yeah, as it has a large base, but do you want people that download any legal cd, movie, game, software etc.. to download and further "distribute" our freely shared shows? god knows, maybe they sell them then?

I download plenty of stuff from Demonoid and I've never had any problem with Malware or anything nasty.

I would say that it's a step above the Pirate Bay as you need to be invited and stuff but I guess nothing's ever fool proof.

And yes, it is primarily officia material, but every now and then you uncover a gem, for example one time I got a four hour "workprint" version of This Is Spinal Tap there.
