SOS "on hold"
« on: April 09, 2013, 01:49:09 PM »
Whilst being put on "hold" on the phone to a certain Leeds building society this morning I was treated to SOS whilst "waiting in the queue"!  Not any version I had heard before, though - no vocals - more like muzak!   ::)

I wouldn't have minded being on hold for 5m46s!

"On hold" music is a bit like lift music;  not too distracting and a little nondescript.  At least it wasn't the real McCoy.

With "SOS", I would gladly be on hold forever.  The other day, the store I was shopping at played " Walk Of Life"   Whenver I hear MK's songs played outside my house. It makes my day ! Altogether I've heard 3 songs played in 3 different stores.  "Ride across the River" "What it is" and "Walk of life" :)
