Hi all,

First videos :

Poor quality,  but nice to see Pick , Jack, Phil & Mel.
Pick really did a very good job, nice Phil's solo on SOS.
To be honest I prefer their feeling than the straits , for me Marco is better (guitarist not singer) , than Terence, I like his feeling and subtility.

Regards.

Very good version in my opinion. Pick sounded great, looking forward to more videos with him. I also think Marco does a better job than Terence. Terence has a very hard way of playing. As for Phil, I don't know. He has this "studio" sound, very slick and pop. When you see the list of people he has played with, it's easy to see that he fits better with George Michael than in a Dire Straits type of band.

Amazing to hear Pick, a foundation member of Dire Straits playing after all these years. The outro of Private investigations sounds wild on the drums and sultans is drummed how it should be. Jacks vibe is in there too.

Always fills me with some sadness though as a fan that dire straits can't reform again and we are left in this situation of watching talented ex members obviously having fun performing in various configurations of the band, all without stubborn MK.

Yes, yes he's having fun doing his own thing, I know all that....as long as HE is happy that's the main thing.

Wow. Dire Straits did a live show? How comes I have not heard about it before... But the stage is a lot smaller than it used to be....
