Title: Cooking with Knopfler

Cooking with Knopfer is a Belgian band with top musicians sharing their love for DS and MK music.
I’ve already been to three of their shows. In general I don’t like tribute bands at all. But this is different, these people in no way try to look like or imitate MK or other band members (although Bart Buls’ voice is naturally close to MK’s). They just play the music they love and take the audience on a DS an MK trip. High quality music and a great mix of DS an MK songs with some unexpected songs.
If you live in Belgium, you should go see them. I live in The Netherlands and booked a hotel and had great evenings together with my son. Great evening guaranteed!

Not a fan of tribute bands, but at least they don't try to the whole cringey cabaret thing of trying to look exactly like them, like other tribute bands try to do.
Just a couple of blokes playing the music they enjoy.  :thumbsup

Sounds really good. They are clearly inspired and influenced by the original versions, but they are able to make the songs their own. The vocalist sounds similar to Mark, but with more of an American accent, which works very well. Plus he's very confident as a frontman and doesn't try to mimic Mark's style.
