Title: Private Investigations (Best of): RE-Release

Hello there,

it seems that the PI compilation will be released as a deluxe version on the 12th of January 2010. The deluxe edition comes as a boxed set including a booklet with 50 pages of liner notes, photographs etc. according to:

In terms of music the deluxe edition won't contain anything new or different.
Another collector's item? In my view certainly not.

It's not showing up in the US amazon.    Isn't this the same as the 2006 (or around there) Private Investigations compilation?    Am I missing something?

Yes, I guess it's the one we all already have. Nothing new then. Could be a reissue?

The only new thing is a beefed-up booklet (50 pages) and the package I suppose. It could be a marketing-based decision to release that again as MK is touring this year.

it is a re-release of the Private Investigation. Planned for January 12 by Universal Music Germany - Cat N Mercury 0602498744758

Hmm, not really interesting, re-pressing some discs... ::) Not the one who posted it, but the news itself of course! ;D *still waiting for a remastered GH* :-[
