Quite interesting to see all those "unfamiliar" faces in "our" British Grove studio...
I must admit I never liked Illsleys voice very much as a frontman I mean. Background singing is another thing. I had "Glass" still on vinyl back in the 90

I have to say I'm excited about this, seems like John has got his music mojo back again, and by the look of the pics he maybe playing lead guitar aswell as bass, Guy has said Mark is not on Johns album, so I guess John is doing all the lead work.
I'm glad he's not with Greg Pearl anymore, I really don't like Greg's voice.

He looks like playing all guitars by himself, mmmm, again a second hand Mark Knopfler style  :(

I don't think it is a second hand style, every player out there has ther own style, the fact John played alongside Mark for so many years means that he would have picked up something, but don't forget John is formost a bass player, its good that he is trying something new, like when Mark played bass for the A Shot At Glory soundtrack.
