...that's what they're called in the States...license plates on your car with whatever you want, if it's not already taken. Well, I've always had them - just one of the silly indulgences I allow myself. I had STVI RAY for a while; somebody stole the front plate, so I had to get something else. The car that got crunched in my wreck had MKGTR on the plate (got it off a notation on Chuck's mixer on the vid included in the Shangri-La CD). I've come up with some for my next vehicle, which I'm hoping to get in a month or so. If anybody has any other suggestions, I'm open. But I'm interested to see what people think of my choices. I'm only allowed 6 characters:
TELE RD
KNOFLR
ALBION (my current favorite; "Sure as the sunrise, that's what they say about the Albion")
GTLCKY
MKGTR2
Whaddaya thnk?

Wow, I do like these, guys. Keep 'em coming. Arthur's right, though - I can only use 6 characters! Iowa is limited - California can have, I think, up to 8.

Or a request to Mark could be 'TOL PLS'

Dusty, you are so so so ornery ;D I like 'KNOFFLA' a lot!

How about DRIVE SRAIT - it a kind of double meaning plate :o :D

I bought a brand spanking new car today. 2010 plate, which i'll be driving out of the show room on Mar 1st ;D
I've been looking at personal plates for a while now, but all are too expensive.

Sell the new car, buy an old used clunker and then you can afford the vanity plate. ;)

I think I'm going with NOFFLA. It'll confuse the unwashed and please those who are part of the Family.
