Yep, another pointless survey which you can vote for DS MFN if you want.

Bit of fun, I voted for MFN. :)

I'd vote for BIA. For the time, graphics were great. And message was absolutely clear.
-
Was the message of MFN clear? I take it as a two-way irony, aimed both at the rock stars with the "ear ring and the make-up", and at the stupid people not realizing that it actually takes some more to make it than to "bang on them drums" - the "Hawaiian noises", etc, comments make the latter interpretation viable I think.
-
Yes, the message of MFN was absolutely clear, and it was a great video. BIA is just a personal preference, and I used it in my classroom in the late 80s and early 90s, to accompany some poems and an anti-war novel.
I could not criticize MFN. The two are worlds apart in style, and both are great and clear in their message.
-
Well could you specify the clear message? :) I guess you mean that my double interpretation is not valid?
-
No, I did not mean that at all. I thought that your interpretation was excellent! Sorry if I did not say it well. :)

Oh, right. I've been thinking a bit about the lyrics and that seems to me the most reasonable way to think about them.
