Title: John Illsley's 'Streets of Heaven' Tour 2010 first concert in Italy
Post by: Slavi on May 04, 2010, 08:50:10 PM
I was so lucky to see John, Chris and Alan together again promoting John's new album in Italy. The concert was held at the Crossroads Music Club near Rome, on the 2nd of May.The concert was very powerful, dynamic and fast that I actally didn't notice how could this 2 hours or more finished sooo quickly!! What more can I say? It must be listened and seen - the magic of the old DS power alive...They played some of the oldies DS songs, 4 from the new album, some old John's songs and others too. I didn't ask John if the set list is allowed, so I won't post it here.

Line up:

John Illsley: guitar & vocal
Chris White: sax & vocal
Alan Clark: piano & hammond
Lee Boylan: drums
Steve Tierney: bass
Marco Caviglia: guitars & vocals
Primiano Di Biase: keyboards, accordion & vocals

Guest act and vocals: Polly Wood

Here you are my pictures from the concert:

I believe there will be an interview with John too, but still don't know where would be broadcasted.

too bad the vid quality is not too good. sounds interesting, i mean, that is like 40 to 60% of dire straits reunited...
