Rolling on...
-
Pottel, where are you? I'm really curious if there were any changes in the setlist ;D
-
In a pub? German beer's chemical free! ;D
-
YES, we got lucky! ;D
-
Yay, cool! Did he drop Monteleone?
-
Jep!
-
Why do I always feel a little uncomfortable when I see him sitting there in this position? Is it just my silly self again? ;D
-
greatest show yet, awesome sultans, great HFB, superbbbbbbbbbb marbletown....
got to meet Glenn Whorf in his little room.
so setlist change is Monte gone for Get Lucky (on which Michael McGoldrick was brilliant!)
sorry that you did not get the setlist in time, but i had a dead phone...
only now back in the hotel.

oooh, and the finger of death made a single return during,...sultans i believe...short, and not totally evil looking, but obvious nevertheless.
besides that one occasion he was REALLY relaxed
-
marky, thanks as usual wonderful pictures. I like the last one the most. Mark seemed to be concentrating hard.
How many shows are you going total ? It seems like you're at every show !

Great show yesterday.
My big moment remains HFB but there was some other brilliant performances such as Coyote or SAN...
SOS in its short version sounds great ; Mark does not extendidly soloing on it anymore.
Sound is really good this year in the arena ; the tech sound seem to have better mastered the strong echoing than in 2008.
I did not notice on the previous 2 night but here was no attendance in the choir this time.

lol.
hey DS1984, it has been the same way since day two. no audience in the "back seats" or "choir seats"
intruiging.
also, i saw quite a lot of empty seats around me (at least 6 in my immediate surroundings) still the band keeps mentioning "sold out shows"
now i tend to believe that, i guess people sometimes simply cannot come to the show for whatever reason,..
but today i really noticed this...

Yeah, on sunday, the next two places on my right were empty, too! But London is a town where you can get in traffic or stuff anytime I think. Also this
very long pre-sale time range and the hustle with the mk.com tickets on the first day might have an impact, too!

If you look Royal Albert Hall webpages you can see that they have still available seats behind the band and also standing tickets. Well, well...should I take again a plane to London :)
Silvertown
-
today (3rd) the drums kept echoing during some songs, so we informed the sound tech, who all of the sudden happened to be german....
and he promised to fix it.
