Well, if it's an extra song... ;D And any song is awesome compared to sonny liston...
Problem is its not an "extra" song - it knocks a better song (GL, DG Monte etc) out of the set.
-

Be careful pjh - the setlist thought police will be out to get you.........we're not allowed to moan anymore :disbelief
-
The fish and the bird was nice to hear though. :) The uilleann pipes were great! :P
-
again, i gotta say, yes, little setlist change, BUT, ...and i mean BUTT, the show was simply so good (Sailing was a dream, the Sultans end solo (not the tiwddly bit, but just before) was old school good) that one can forget such thoughts.
-
Oh, new shirt!! :o
;D

@ Marky49. Very nice pic

His voice has been bad now since Luxembourg/Paris concerts with the odd exception.
-
see guy's reply to my "voice" question
-
Yesterday I bought the simfy USB stick and downloaded tracks 8 - 16 (bonaparte - piper) today. Excellent recording I have to say! :D

It was "perfect" in Oslo. Maybe that was the odd exception. :)

By the way, I forgot to mention something stupid last night. I sat in the middle block, next to me a women fell asleep during prairie wedding. She woke up somewhere near the end of hill farmer's blues... :lol :lol :lol Sorry, I had to share this with you. ::)
-
Oh, didn't that happen to her during that same song in Hamburg? ::)

I nearly fell asleep during Praire Wedding too. What an odd choice of song that was (although perhaps not as odd as resurrecting The Fish and the Bore).
-
Well I love Prairie Wedding so I was delighted to see it back in the set.

Me too!

I was very lucky in Cologne for this signed cd:
-
Really lucky you!!!
-
Very cool! Tell us about the circumstances! Was he friendly? From out of the car? Where exactly did you meet him?
If you don't mind... ;)
LE
-
oh yes! :D
Dennis Brouwer again! Please, you have to fix it in Amsterdam again, i'm following you everywhere :P
In Antwerpen you helped me with meeting Guy Fletcher, you are good! ;D ;D
-
Was he friendly?
Well, Martina what shall we say?
Not at all, he did sign the cd but when he noticed a camera he jumped inside the backstage entrance.

He was As friendly As His Finger of Death.

He must have thought you were with the paparazzi :o :o :o
-
He clearly lost any interest to interact with his fans other than the gig itself. Even the meet'n'greets are gone. But maybe it's more fair than giving a chance to meet the master only to some lucky competition winners.

I was very lucky in Cologne for this signed cd:
Well done! ;D Reminds me of the day MK waved at me in the car to have my CD signed (and no, that was NOT a dream!). ;D
-
crap signature really.
he does not really seem to try...
