Only 14 songs again?

Damn planes  ;D

It looks like they are tired now, and they stick to a basic set just to finish, very bad luck to all the fans that will see this part of the tour in the sense that they will loose some of the songs some of us already enjoyed, but in the other hand they are playing better as they have more nights of practice  :P

Prairie Wedding is a short song and doesn't require too much energy from the band so why don't they just give the fans one more song?  Surely that couldn't hurt? :-\

I always loved this song in the STP cd, actually one of my favourites, but I don't like it when played live, it

Personally I think Prarie Wedding works fine live, along with Piper and Border Reiver probably my highlight on the 2010 tour.

But yes, certain songs sound great on record but just don't work live, This Is Us, springs to mind. Probably Money for Nothing too.

Marvelous night at Lyon! Really great atmosphere in this little roman arena...
That's true... we can all discurve of "this one missing"... "or this one"... (for me, i mss"Prairie Wedding" ... i love that song...)... anyway THIS concert was MAGIC!!!
Thanks Nico and all friends there!

Did you see the last pic in Guy's diary entry? What is MK doing there? Shaving?  ;D

I posted a message to Guy and suggested it would make a good competition subject.   :)   I thought it looked like he was shaving in a lift!   ;D

I don't think it is a lift because of the door in the background. I was also thinking about it and shaving was the only sensible reason I found. And I wonder
who that lady is? Nice shirt by the way, he looks somehow really thinner and better than during the last months. Touring suits him well I think...  :)

Maybe the door behind him (#9) is his dressing room - I think it has "Mark" on the door and he opened the door to someone outside, who just happened to have a camera ready, at the moment that Mark was in the process of shaving as he answered the door!    ;D

The lady is Kate Walsh, isn't she? Either that, or a groupie waiting to get into Mark's dressing room  ;D ;D

Although only 14 song, actually Lyon was not that shorter because we did succeed to make Mark play Oe oeo oe (and he did with much more obvious pleasure than in Paris - asking myself if he was not awaiting this particular moment of the show) and Coyote final solo sounded like an extended one compared to the previous ones. And in Lyon there was no hurry to catch the plane.

Lyon also had the honour of a Presidential visit. Great venue. We were veeeeery late (got in at 10 to 10) and sat at the very top. Great view. The sound was amazing. Witnessed my first ole ole. The Presidential Brother loved it too. (sadly the Pres-Mum could not make it.) I liked the tradition of throwing the cushions on stage at the end.... ;D

Obviously a really great venue with these very atmospheric pillars in the background - would have been perfect for a Live-DVD... thanks for the pics, Nat!

Really incredible venues. Lyon was by far my preferred concert.
Not being able to film is my biggest regret of this tour.  :disbelief Get unlucky tour.

I pray for a Get Lucky tour in 2012. ;)
