Hello there!
As I'm stumbling across the lyrics of No Can Do (thanks to the recent GH thread), I'm wondering how many songs mention London in the lyrics or are somehow connected to Big Smoke.
London in the lyrics:
No Can Do
Sultans Of Swing
Vic And Ray
thematically:
Madame Geneva
Southbound Again
Eastbound Again
Lions
(Postcards From Paraguay?)
Silvertown Blues
Junkie Doll
(One More Matinee?)
Wild West End
Portobello Belle
(Skateaway?)
Single Handed Sailor (Cutty Sark)
Mmmmh I miss London so bad.....
Any further suggestions?

Interesting one.
I am not sure about Postcards. Also One Last Matinee, isn't this one set in Leeds? And Skateaway sounds more like Manhattan to me, but I have no concrete reason for that...
I think I can add Industrial Disease.

Industrial Disease, with Speaker's corner right?
Lots of London imagery for MK.
Hehe, beaten by half a minute ;)

Yes it's set in Leeds, my hometown, inspired by MK reporting about the Ugly Sisters in Cinderella from The Leeds City Varieties. :)

Thanks for the input so far, ladies and gents! It's interesting how his work is related to London in many ways.
