i mean, amazon should NOT be selling this!

And a very striking first review from our own Mr. Pottel! Good idea. I support you to rate a Dire Straits concert with one star anytime if it is for a good cause! ;)

Thanks for posting the comment, Pottel! I have posted a reply to the original post on MarkKnopfler.com! ;)

Ah great, I just ordered 120 copies! ;D

Now it looks like a bootleg from private sellers. By the way the amazon says - "Studio: Mainstreet". It can be a company based in Australia http://www.mainstreetstudios.com.au They could make a DVD mastering from tape saved (?) in Australian TV
And as situation with WDR concerts released on DVD and CD, somebody in Australian TV has a "copyright". Will see.

Fair play to you Pottel 8) you put a big dagger in in straight away - its a bootleg & I'm telling my mom,so there dont sell another one :'( :'(
-
Pottel, Your comment has now been removed and another 4 star comment added! :disbelief

Well, we can get angry about the other 20 bootlegs they sell (autumn in nimes for example) but that doesn't change the situation. I'd say, play the alchemy blu ray and enjoy, it's better to prevent heart attacks than go after them! :lol If PC thinks this should be solved, let him solve the problem. He is the management and is getting paid for it. ;)

The packaging of the "Alchemy" DVD is pretty poor when compared to other modern DVD music releases. It's a real let-down. IMO, packaging is at least 40-50% of a release's overall quality.

I'm actually tempted to buy a copy just on the off chance that it might be semi official and from original tapes!
