Amazing, id like to swap shoes with that guy! Although what he describes seems to be Marks standard history of fingerpicking on acoustic, it must've been quite captivating to listen face to face.

I'd love to spend an hour or so with Mark and just have a few scotches and a chat...

Funny, I was wondering the same thing. Kind of makes you wonder if MK listens to the "final product" there. Or probably hasn't touched any of it and doesn't even know what's there. :lol

There is something very interesting to me in that post.

When he says that MK only had one hour as he had a busy schedule and that day had an appoinment. As MK music fans we tend to think that when he is not recording or touring, he is not doing anything, actually I used to read about that "busy schedule" long ago as a reason of MK not attending some events (some of them musical related) and it was before he had British Grove Studio, I always asked myself what is a busy schedule in a musicians life that is not recording or touring right now.

Nowadays, I assume that his role as owner of a very pretigious studio recording keeps him very busy, even he has a great manager taking care of the bussiness, but I always been curious about what "the man" does when he is not making music, apart of his private life in family, of course.  :)

It's all just a front. We know he likes to lie on his couch, reading novels  ;D

His busy schedule probably involves going and picking up some bread, meeting his daughter from school, getting a haircut, doctors appointment etc. He can be plenty busy enough with "ordinary" things.

My hands would probably be shaking too much to play with MK. Also, I'd be embarassed that I play in the same "three finger" way that he does - would look like a real idiot copying him like that, but it's the way I taught myself and the only way I know.
