in my experience is too high. I'm not very interested in this item, but I've seen it sold for 40-50 euro.
I think to have seen some page; if I remember it was not much interesting (tour dates). Of course I don't know the rest.

regarding eil, most of the items are exaggerately overpriced: here and there you can find a proper price (I'd say never a bargain)
This is a striking example:

you can easily find it for a quarter (or less!) of their price

If you subscribe to eil to receive their daily emails with MK/Dire Straits products, they have specials every day.     I haven't checked to see if the prices are really marked down, and I haven't bought anything from them for years.   But it might be worth it to check.

I can't answer for a DS tour diary but, from the ones I've seen for other artists' tours, they are generally pre-printed details of the tour and are given to every member of the band, crew and management on the tour. Sometimes there are slightly different ones for different groups or categories of people involved on the tour.

Often, for each day on the tour, the diary will specify travel, hotel, feeding and similar arrangements - and the times thereof. For example, the time for catching the coach or plane to the next venue or to the venue for the sound check - indeed the time for the soundcheck to start, often the time for the soundcheck to finish to allow ticket holders in, showtiume and so on. The diaries can include contact details of hotels, where to leave luggage, how to tag it and so on.   Basically, you have a broad outline of what will happen each day and at what time, usually preceded by a lsit of who is on the tour and who's responsible for waht on the tour.

The details included can vary a great deal - emergency contact numbers, who to go to in order to sort out particular problems, where to leave stage clothes for cleaning between shows and so on and so on. Some tour diaries specify rooming arrangements at each hotel, for example, though this may more often be sorted out by the advance party, who will check out the arrangements ahead of the main touring party arriving. For days off, they might give details of places worth visiting in the locality.

Some tour diaries I've seen have handwritten notes - either amendments made along the road or an individual's comments.

As for EIL, their prices are possibly a touch on the high side and their service is pretty good.

i bought the diary in the end from another location, but i like the rarities they sometimes have.
