This artwork by Ian Taylor is called "Mark Knopfler"

Eager to know why? Brendan will explain later.....

Maybe Brendan's attempt at a little tongue-in-cheek shot at Mark for spending an entire tour on a seat?  ::)

We are promised an explanation a little later.
Maybe that will give light on Guy's cold feet when asked a possible NHB reunion nowadays whereas Mark in the 90's and 00's regularly said that this was his perfect band to perform charity gigs...

Hmmm. Never have heard/read him saying that about the Notting Hillbillies, but only about Dire Straights...

Guy's response to a recent NHB query...
"Hi Guy! After listening to the amazing "Beyond Here Lies Nothing" from the Bournemouth show, "Ropestretching" started going around my brain for some reason and I began to think of those wonderful NHB shows. I know you have ruled out another NHB album,so obviously that won't happen, but is there any possibility of another NHB get-together sometime, or definitely never again?

 No, I don't think so"

That pretty much says it all..Guy is a man of soooo many words   (one...maybe two  ;))
