Anyone interested in posting pics of themselves, wearing their custom MK shirts?
Here's Gerry, just to get things started:
-
Good for you, Jerry!!! Good taste in clothing and in beer too!
-
A couple of Knopflerado bookends outside The Point in Dublin after the MK/EH show in June 2006, Dan aka Waterline Man on the left and Nico aka themanwholovedmktoomuch on the right.
Letting the side down with non-Gayle designed attire are (from left) Rod aka RockSultan, yours truly and Colin aka ubhal. :)

How do I get one!! Do you do XXL! ??? ???
-
Sorry, draad, I only have size L left!!!!!!!!!! It would be really expensive to order a single XXL. I am only selling what I have remaining. 8)
:'(
Cool pic, dusty! I have a copy of that in my 'puter! ;D
-
Hey - was only joking about the size! :)
-
LOL! ;D :P ::)
-
Great pictures Gayle and Dusty! I love it to see pictures of forum members! It is nice to see who is behind a name.
I'll try to post next time a picture of me and my hubby in our shirts! ;D

Agree on both counts Marie.........So would my son but only on one. He won a "T" shirt once for drinking 8 pints of the stuff.... Lucky I taught him well though and he had pre arranged a lift home....
-
On the assumption that American size L is about the size of a two man tent, that should do me! ;D Gayle, please send me a PM on how to order from you. TYVM.
-
I was to ask about the knopflerados in Dublin as I saw you there!!!
I was one of those guys wearing a "British Grove Studio" t-shirts, remember Martina saw me and my friends and commented with the person she was about it, hope not negative comments as it was a kind of rosky t-shirt ;D
-
Ah, I think I saw you in your British Grove shirt just outside the venue as we were waiting to go in (just as I accosted Jurassick Park actor Sam Neill - too many Guinesses!). I remember wondering "Where did he get that t-shirt?".
Did you make it yourself?
-
Yeah Dusty, quite nice!!!
Me and my friends were taken some photos, and then suddenly Matt Rollings came and kindly possed with us, and moments later we saw Sam Neill too, but he was kind of rude and refused not only take a pic with us but also an autograph...
Yes, we made that shirt ourselves and it started as a joke, when we discovered the official site of MK
-
lol, I think you're balls are safe, he'll probably just say how much he likes it and ask his manager to get one for him, like he did with the KTGC poster I asked him to sign at the M&G in Newcastle.
Old "Sambo" (as my dear friend Waterline Man refers to him) wasn't all that thrilled at the prospect of getting his picture taken with me, but he did agree and at least smiled for it.

After the picture was taken I should have said "Thanks very much Mr Irons, I loved your performance in Dead Ringers." ;)
-
The things we should have said, Dusty!! That would have been a perfect comment. It annoys me a little when famous people are rude when approached politely. I wouldn't want to be constantly accosted either, but there are ways to avoid things nicely. Everyone from the Letterman show I asked for a photo was very nice about it, which surprised me a little since they are notoriously nervous about stalkers (they even have a list of people to look out for in the line of hopefuls waiting to get in). BTW Dusty, you are much better looking than Nigel Tufnell!!! ;D
-
Ha ha, well looking back I think I look a bit "pudgy" there, I've slimmed down since becoming a father, more work and less alcohol. :(
I remember, as always, being very polite, "Excuse me Mr Neill, would you mind having your photo taken with me please?"
Perhaps this is why I was succesful and Jbaent wasn't. ;)

So was Sam Neil going to the MK concert? That's cool if he was. It would make me like him more.

Yes, he was. Even he

Sorry girls for the question but, where are you in that picture? I like that painting on the wall, and it rings the bells to me, but not quite sure why or from where... ??? ???
-
jbaent - It was taken in the bar/cafe adjoining the Heineken Music Hall. :)

I agree with that Gayle! ;D
Btw I still have 2 pictures with fans of this forum at the back ground also! One of them is Lars (I recognized his avatar on MKnews forum) and the other man came from Italy or Spain, I don't know anymore. He has been talking to us for a little while and later I saw him standing behind us at a picture! I wonder who it is! ;D
