Title: RIP Cesaria Evora

The world famous singer from Cape Verde has passed away at the age of 70. I remember hearing her most famous song Sodade over the speakers in a music shop back in the early 90s, and I really loved the music. Didn't have a clue who it was until 15 years later.

May she rest in peace. She was one of the thousand "world" artists, that usually go unnoticed, but lucky enough to have the spotlight on her with just this very song. It gave us the opportunity to go through the rest of her music, appreciate it and eventually have open ears for such music.
