Title: Brilliant interview about MK with Andy Kershaw

And especially in Britain where it's almost uncommon to take your shoes off inside. Then again, we're talking about a country where people put carpet in the toilet and still install sinks with seperate faucets ;D

LE - Andy Kershaw does have a strong dialect - it's a Lancashire accent - he was born in Rochdale! :)

Jackal - Outdoor footwear is most definitely frowned upon in our house, we do not have carpet in the toilet :o and we have mixer taps! :lol :lol

Post by: twm on April 02, 2012, 12:43:15 PM: I never expected to be discussing the carpeting or otherwise of toilets etc here but, like the others, I have no carpeting in the toilet, bathroom or similar. And the same was true of the last house where I lived for 25 years. Even my mother, who will be 90 this year and has lived in her house for well over 40 years, has no carpeting in these rooms.
