Title: How to upload a song ?
Post by: JF on April 09, 2012, 10:25:53 PM
Hi all,

I have made my first recording (well not my very first, but my first since a long time) and I would like to share it with you and other friends  :)

What is the best way to upload a wave file on the net ?

I don't have any account : no facebook, no tweeter, no myspace, no youtube (alhough I have a gmail login, so it would be easy to ulpoad a video I guess, but I had to make a video file before)

So what is your advice ?

I heard that myspace wasn't the best ?

I have heard about my major company, but it seems more if I wanted to became a rock star whici is not my aim (well why not ? ::))

I want something easy, simple, where I can upload sevral wav files, with no limit sizes, and where everyone can listen to them easily, that's all  ;D

thanks in advance for your advices  :)

Many thanks Dan,
I signed up and uploaded the tune here :

hope it works

I did'nt post it in "almost straits", because, it's not very MK's influenced, except maybe for the sound of the first solo.

It's not really a song, just a riff I had in my head. I jammed over it, trying differents sounds.

The gear used is : a Fender US strat (2005) into a Vox Tonleab ST, directly into my PC via USB
the keyboard sounds (organ and brass) are played on a Yamaha PSR60, I got for Christmas 1986 (!)
Of course it sounds a bit cheesy, but that's all I got....
the Yamaha is also recorded through the Tonelab
the drums are played by a friend of mine, on real drums, but "trigged" and recorded also via behringer unit / USB

thanks for your comments !  :)
