Nice reading. Didn't know Mark had a dog. It's actually called Cory, the same as the dog in "Good as Gold" from the GL box set :)

Thank you so much for alerting me to this article, Jarle!    Yes, I did know about Cory, but not seen a picture of him - he's adorable!   I love whippets, they are such gentle dogs.

Here is another article that mentions Cory:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2007/apr/07/familyandrelationships.family6

I think he may have been named after a Lonnie Donegan song.

A thought just came to me regarding the bottle of wine.   Kitty says they drank the wine on a warm summer evening 19 years ago - could this have been when MK had the inspiration for "A Night in Summer Long Ago" I wonder?    :)

Does anyone know the lyrics to that 'Cory' verse... The bit that starts "lost my..." - for the life of me I can never understand it. ???

You're welcome :) Interesting thought... It sounds like a special moment for both of them, so it could be. Nice that she has saved the bottle... :)

It seems that Kitty has just released her newest novel. Here is a picture form the release party, re-tweeted by her daughter Isabella. Maybe it is in their garden? :p I don't see Mark, but I think I can spot Kitty in the background, and even Mariella Frostrup (or her twin sister) closer to the camera... :)

I don't think it's their backgarden, I can't imagine that MK always want to have everything organized to the top  and not have painted his windows proper  ;D ;D

I think this picture was taken from a summer-house, at the bottom of the garden - there are a few cracked panes of glass!   The main house is probably in the distance at the opposite end of the garden.

Maybe many of the songs of the Golden Heart album was inspired by Kitty, to whom the album was dedicated...

I always knew in some way that he has... ;D ;D ;D

BTW....Do you remember that fence on the pic with the dog??

I like dogs but that dog is... well, I dont like it at all.

 ;D

I dont think its the same fence, the garden in the presentation looks pretty full of trees, in the MK picture the space is clear.

And I always thought that "A night in summer" and "Are we in trouble now" talked about his romance days with Kitty, it was pretty clear as many of you will recognize that emotions  ;)

Jbaent - I'm talking about the fence at the front of the house - the one with MK and the bike and the one with the dog by the window, not the garden at the back with the presentation.    The same "lollipop" trees can be seen.   :)

I don't remember exactly which one but some stuff on this album was written something like in 1974.

AWITN is one of my fave MK song. Nealry perfect, I would like that there would be no fade out on it and get de solo extended to the max.
I have to crank my amp very loud each time I liten to it (hopefully this is the last one on the album).
GH is another beautiful song.

Jagry, thank you for this pic. - I'm not sure if I have seen it...
I remember other picture of MK near that fence ( maight be STP or RPD time or maight not...even possibly a promo picture...LOL)...but can't find it anywhere in that folders-in-folders-changing-PC-burning-CD fan work... ;D ;D ;D

Jarle, thanks for both articles! One day will find and read all Kitty's books... ;D

Here is the fence...still searching the other picture

Slavi, I understand that you mean that is the same fence but view frim the other side  ;D

They moved two or three years ago (it was mentioned here that they sold his house) so its unlikely the new house is in any picture before Get Lucky.

OK...I understand! But it's possible the pic with the dog is the old one, from the past...despite the photographer name on it...i'm sure there is any explanation..

But the bike picture was from last year and MK had already moved house.   The dog picture was from the same house.

Ben Knopfler is facing a guy whose back is to us.  To this guy's right, I think it's Issy Knopfler.  It looks like her hair.....All you can see is her hair.

Read the first one, but not the second one.    Good writer.    Sooo much better than these Fifty Shades of Yuk that are best sellers at the moment -   desperate!!
