Great, lifesize! Thank you!

Don't remember the headband ever being worn on that tour. :think Must have just been for the publicity photos.

The DVD cover of a night in London must be from the same photo session, so I have seen it before,.

the photo is from the OES tour, you can see it on the OTN booklet
at this time it wasn't a "tennis" headband" anymore, looked more like a "Rambo" headband ;D
I guess he switched to this kind of headband during the 2nd leg of BIA tour, because wembley 85 is with the "tennis" headband, and Syndey is with the "rambo" headband

Tennis headband - you cannot be serious! ;D

well I don't know the exact word for these "sponge" headbands...
believe it or not, but I remember a french article where DS were called "the tennismen"
Indeed, with the "sponge wrists " and the "sponge headband" (soory for my poor english, but I think you get what I mean) the first idea that came to mind was...tennis ala Bjon Borg ! ;D
in early DS days, Mark had already "sponge wrists", but he was'nt the first to do it, Phil Collins had also some in Genesis days, but as for the headband, I don't know any other artist doing the same, and Mark wasn't the only one to suffer from sweat on stage...so if nobody cmae with this before, maybe it was because everyone found this as a "strange" idea ?

MK never cared about how he looks. That is why he put on his tennis head band, and let the management come with the idea to make it his "signature" look. But it is funny what he wears in Sydney interview. This peculiar looking stretch outfit, is almost Spinal tap! :smack
But other artists cared about looks and hair. Hair in the 80ies was such a big thing that we have "hair metal" bands, and Cindy Lauper. ;D (who by the way is a terrific songwriter)

I have a few of these left for sale (cheap). Apart from these, quite a few more cardboard promo displays from many era's.
Could bring these to shows in the Netherlands, Halle (Germany) and Antwerp (Belgium).
If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Do you have any photos please?
-
I will prepare some photos. It might take a while, but it will happen :)

Thank you very much! It will be hard to buy them, because of the bulky nature and high postage cost, but just in case!
