Title: Style of the new album??
Post by: dannyjun on October 05, 2008, 09:37:17 PM: What do you think about style of the new album? Try to write 1) your dream and 2) probable style

I would like some very long tracks with a lot of guitar solos, mainly Gibson les paul pls (some solo like Junkie Doll ;) ) ...and a bit harder that previous albums.
KTGC was superb in my opinion, but it needs some change now...

Still, I suppose that there will not be a big difference from other album, but...keep dreaming ;)

Not really, I'd be happy with something more country influenced.

Although I'd prefer if stayed away from the folky style, KTGC isn't my favourite by a long way. Less spaghetti playing too, I like it, but let's face facts, it's not as good or distinctive as his fingerstyle playing.

I like all kinds of music of Mark, that is why he is such a great artist.

Until now (I can be wrong) I think there isn't an celtic album of Mark, ............is that right? I would love to have an album with songs like "Lily of the West". Mark has a beautiful voice for that ........ imagine, guitars, flutes, violins, accordion, bothran, keyboard, whistle and perhaps other instruments!

Not only Mark, Guy, Matt, Richard, Glenn and Danny, but there need to be a place for John McCusker also! Uuuhhh we also can take Chris White for flute, I think that would be perfect for Slavi ;D.........Ooohhhh and let's not forget the Chieftans! ;D .........Yeah this is a wonderful bunch of artists all together!

Well in case you all think I am crazy now, I also still am satisfied when the new album would have songs like those at GH, TRPD, ATRR, KTGC, STP and others too! :-*

YES!! I love STP...I also liked the pic of MK with his Stratocaster on Guy
