Still here then I see.  I though they could have waited 'till after Christmas but apparently the Mayan Calendar ran out today i.e. there is no 22nd of December!

Bugarach, in the foothills of the Pyrenees, is said to contain a mystical UFO garage which will carry people off earth as the Mayan Calendar runs out.  Last night, the hamlet with a population of only 189 was invaded by hippies - seeking out the mystical garage no doubt.

If you think that's all crazy then just feel sorry for the poor chap who lost his bet if we would have been wiped out;  he would have won

Great weather in Scotland this week Rudiger.  When the sun shinbes Scotland is Beautiful and the people are so wonderful too. I love the place.

I am surprised that the Hippies did not do their homework.  Maybe they expected some giant hanger door in the side of the mountain.   Got to admire them though...they have faith in the simple things of life as we know it.
