Important Note from Chris White to his fans: The CD called 'Control' by Chris White, which is the same like 'Shadowdance' but with different track order is ILLEGAL, so please,  DON'T BUY IT !!

So, now the mistery of that CD is solved!   :-\

No offence to Chris White, who is a great player and was kind enough to give me his autograph at Ronnie Scott's in 99 (although I was too drunk to remember it  :-\ ), but is he really popular enough that somebody would bother pirating his music? I mean, he's not exactly Rhianna is he?

LOL...I'm sure he is not Rhianna...
Dusty, I met him in Bush Hall some days ago and asked him about that CD. He didn't know anything about that and was angry. Asked me to put this message. I have got that CD and  it is still circulating...so he was pirated, being popular or not.

why not just contact     sales@eil.com  and point out to them they are selling counterfeit stuff?
or have chris's laywers do it?

I don't know if Chris would alarm his lawyers now. I doubt because he is like Mark - looking forward in the future and not back in the past...

But I mailed to the e-mail above and also everywhere I found it yesterday. Got feedback from silver disc, which seems is the distributer of that CD now. They promissed to remove it. Will check that this evening.

The bad part is that Control, the illegal version, is the only one available as Shadowdance is out of print, as John Illsley cd

I think CW is very busy now to think about that.  :(
Yeah, I asked him if Mark would play on his new album. He said he haven't decided yet if he would invite Mark. But I'm sure if CW invites Mark, Mark would accept...
