C'mon Pottel, take a look at your very own list, GennT and Naif are going! You wrote it down all by yourself! So maybe we will have a real time setlist again!

It's not until tomorrow though folks. Calm down! ;D

okay okay.... i think the changes will be in the songs from the new album.
Probably Red But Tree and kingdom of Gold. Perhaps i used to could...... ??? :think

Hello everyone from Istanbul.
I look forward to see the concert tomorrow. I'll be seeing it at the front stage.

I would love to do live setlist but i have not got an internet connection at the concert. My mobile phone from ancient ages:)

Who is your source? Dr Fletch? Paul Crockford? :)

By the way, I don't believe that thay play Redbud tree on this tour. There is not pedal steel on stage and they must have a permanent stage plan which is not depending on the day's setlist.

Ouch. That also means no OES, as Mark said it requires a Pedal steel to be played properly ? :/

Wasn't it just a lap steel that they used on Redbud though? That would be easy to accommodate...

Show is about to begin........... :clap
-
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome....
I bet that at least first three songs are like in first show.
-
I really am hopening for a new opener but i think it's not gonna happen or it will be WAM

True. Border reiver would be great!
-
Also the best we've had in years.....
-
Can't post live, no-one will update live as far as I know. I can imagine, it will disturb you from enjoying the show. But as soon as I have info I come back here :)

I really liked BR but I can't remember the last time I listened to it. I'm glad it's no longer used because every version is identical due to it having no solos. A very easy opener for Mark to cruise into the show with I think. Can't help thinking back to the good old days of RAtR, CE (OES tour version) or OUATItW - truly great openers and each one instantly recognisable.
-
I think Jeroen is making fun with us but this is what he's writing. However he wrote it down during the concert and I can't imagine he is thinking during the gig how to make fun with us
Can't place all the songs, so I will write down the shorts he sent
1. Tunnel of Love (tol)
2. Lady Writer (lw)
3. Planet of New Orleans (pono)
4. On Every Street (oes)
5. Local Hero (lh)
6. Quality Shoe (qs)
If this is true you all need to help me to find the best gift in the world for Guy to make my apologies to him for the second time and as strong as I can. If this is true I can kiss everyone in the world
-
pono is Planet of New Orleans. I think that this list is real one :)
-
I believe this because I want to believe it. 8)
-
Those first four songs are the ones were are not going to hear never again live.
-
Forget it.
What would he mean by LH?
And only old ones...
-
I believe it also and next ones are Silvertown, Gravy train and Camerado :lol
-
its obviously a joke but LH would probably mean long highway
-
Forget it.

lh is Local Hero, the only one I can believe because of the line up ;-)
Yes Long Highway could be meant too :P
I hope it's not that boring that they are joking us :P
-

LOL. And next Les Boys
-

Would be the biggest surprise ever ;-)

OK guys, now he is changing the document and it seems more reliable ;D
I send him a textmessage, telling he's a joker :P
1. What it is
2. Corned Beef City
3. Cleaning my Gun
4. Privateering
Ah! ;)
Not too surprising...
-
CMG wedged in there as a bonus. Wonder if the set will be longer... :think Can't help but think the set was short in Bucharest, especially in having only two encores.

Not a bonus for the moment because YTC is out. :think
Maybe KOG will come later instead of BIA ???

So it is! Never even noticed. :o OMG This is terrible - one of the best songs of the first gig is dropped for a song they've never managed to get right live. I wish they just leave CMG alone. :disbelief
-
Never liked Cleaning my Gun.
Now, Postcards, there's a little surprise. It wasn't played in Brussels in 2008. Never really got over it. :'(
-
Postcards. Nice surprise. Please, Die-harders, tear this one up now, too!

10. Song for Sonny Liston
11. Postcards from Paraguay

Nice to see Postcards on the set, always liked that one.....
I really prefer YTC compared to IUTC......
I like CMG too....
-
Postcards from Paraguay is a fantastic song. Love the guitar... its making me feel im dreaming...
-
Just listening to Yon Two Crows from Bucharest and he is just not (never) get the singing right. So I would be happy to see it replaced be Cleaning My Gun which has grown very much since 2011.

-
I love the album version of What It Is, one of his best songs ever :D
But played live it's not the same at all :-[
What about Calling Elvis as an opener ?
-
paraguayeeeeeeeeeeeeee

So there are the usual 3 new songs from a new album...
LE
-
paraguayeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Yay, love it, too!
Love BiA, too. Forever
-
SFA. It's back! :lol
At least it pads out the encores. Better there than nothing at all.
-
Looooveee paraguayyyyyyyyyyyy!
-
Oh no, SFA is back :smack
And yes, Brothers In Arms is also a must for me ;)
-
thanks again for the live reporting. Very much appreciated.
-

Thank you Ingrid! :wave
-
So is that it? Two encores again and ending this time with SFA! Hmm :think
So far it seems they'll alternate: Crows and CMG; SFA and GH; HA and Postcards.
-
You're welcome, thanks to Jeroen from the Netherlands this time :thumbsup

I don't know why there is talk about a "short" show since thursday... they never did "real" encores, and as long as the playing time is around 2 hrs there is nothing wrong with a 16 songs-set. Remember the last shows from 2010 had only 14 songs, but the shows lasted 2 hrs nevertheless.

We all know the first shows are the longest and songs soon get dropped.
They could drop Marbletown and fit in a couple of great songs. It's just a waste of over 10 minutes. Makes me cringe every time I think of that and how they could fill that time. It's a crime.

I feel like that with the awful version of T road. They could get 3 songs in its place.

In 2008 the 1st show of the tour in A'dam lasted 2h and 3 minutes ..... the last recording from that tour that I have (Charlotte, July 27th 2008) lasted also 2h and 3 minutes.

Don't agree here ... I don't particulary find the 2008/2010 versions among the best and the version from April 25th is neither, but that outro solo was one of the best (more aggresive and faster, but shorter) since 2005 in my opinion !!

Yes, but in the end the show time was the same .. more, but shorter, songs against less, but longer, songs .... does it really matter in the end ?
If he dropped all songs above 6 minutes he could add a lot more songs instead .... could be up to 25 then ;D (just a joke to show this is just a friendly discussion, i respect your opinion !)

:lol I've got it - his band introduction was longer with more jokes!
On that topic, Issac wrote in his blog that there was no band intro in Bucharest. I sincerely hope MK is still talking to the audience. I'd miss his little jokes and interactions. I also hope he starts to introduce the band in the future.
-
Hello everyone from Istanbul.
I look forward to see the concert tomorrow. I'll be seeing it at the front stage.
:wave Welcome to AMIT - Hope you had a great time! :thumbsup
-
ummm postcards ,very nice
-
Really great to have Postcards, maybe the only song I really like on the Shangri-La album, my least favorite MK album ! together with Going Home, these are the two songs I missed from 2008 for which no soundboard recording was ever issued - we will get them now, so great (I don't care for the others missing from 2008, TLWLF and Cannibals).
I'm very sad YTC is not part of the main set. This is the best song on the Privateering album, really great and adictive, when I think that there is a risk not to hear it in Paris I feel this is a waste....
As for the comment on TR: TR might be slower and in "karaoke mode", but it is still TR, that is, one of the best songs of all ages from anybody ever !! I don't want it to be replaced with anything ! (except TOL, but this is a fantasy that will never be real).
Border and Piper, please come back ! I disagree with the comment on Border, it is among the best openers ever !
-
SL the worst album? Hardly.
-
Looooveee paraguayyyyyyyyyyyy!
Meeeeee Tooooooo :thumbsup :clap :) It's the one song I'd love to hear Mark plays live !!!!! Istanbul' recording would be the one I'm looking forward to listening at the moment. :)

I totally agree! Personally, I don't mind what MK plays, so long as he is still playing for me, but if he stops talking to us and doing band intros, then that would be really upsetting! :'( I love hearing Mark's speaking voice - even the jokes! ;D I hope this isn't something he has learned from Dylan! ::)

No doubts. Best Sultans of Swing in last seven years. Faster, inspired, and aparently without guitar's errors.

Thanks for the link !
Yes, Mark seems to be really on fire and is playing great !
Although I don't like to travel 3 hours for something, I'll be getting a ticket for Zwolle tomorrow. Haven't seen Mark live since 2010 and don't want to miss out again ... especially when he is playing like this !!
-
WOW! What happend?! Just over the night?! SO much better version of Sultans than the first show, and probably the best over the last 7 years as you say. More agressive playing, faster, no errors... Wonderful!
Edit: And now he also plays the extended part at the end, where the song usually has ended the last years, he takes his time to play the ending part from "Alchemy" amongst orthers... :) I think he has stepped it up for this tour.

Yes, faster, that's nice, can he do that to the end solo of TR as well ? can't wait to hear it !
As for SOS, didn't he do the extended part at the end in Bucharest also ?
I still prefer Alchemy though... those jumping notes... this rage... and those keyboards... yes, those keyboards... maybe I'm the only one to like them... I even like the sax of BIA and OES tours ! :)
-
SL the worst album? Hardly.
Never said it was the worst... I would never allow myself to speak for others. I just said it was my own personnal least favourite... I just didn't have the crush on it like I had for STP, TRD, GL and P.
The fact that he mainly only play Sony and Donegan from it doesn't help. If BLT was resurrected.... maybe...

Yes, he did that ending at Buharest too, but it's new for this tour since many years I think... Alchemy is still better, but for his solo tours the last year this is a great version.

Maybe I am too strict, but despite the lack of obvious errors, his voice sounds a bit like doing the duty. I guess that the "live" experience will cover this for the lucky ticket holders, but the video or audio for the unlucky ones will be, just above average.
Herlock I totally agree with you. The keyboards in Alchemy and SOS in particular, fit the song. It is still my faourite SOS live version. (Some from OES, 1985 and Mandela are a bit lower but still very good).
;) How about KTGC or GH? ;) SL is the most guitar driven album, more that even STP. I love the sound of the songs, even the weaker ones. And don't get me wrong, I know we have a subjective chit-chat, I meant the worst album according to you! ;D

Yes, Alchemy is a killer... I also have the Live Aid DVD and I know many don't like it but I think it was a very good version, great mess on stage :)
I like GH and KTGC, maybe a little bit less than the others I mentionned. KTGC was his most misunderstood album, yet I find some very good gems on it (Punish the Monkey, Madame Geneva,...).
SL may be guitar-driven but I find it clinical, cold,... too many stinkers for me: Sony, Donegan, All that matters... can't stand them. BLT gets the job done as a single, but does not have the emotional power of WII or BR... 5.15am is nice but a bit dull for my taste.... Postcards was the only one that thrilled me. So I'm glad it's back ! :)

.. and I thought the Bucharest version was better than ever (except some rhytmh failure during the fiddly bits). This one easily topped that. He seems more inspired on all DS songs than previous tours.

this one (SOS) was real good indeed, not just the ending, bt those "different" notes planted everywhere, very freestylish for a guy named knopfler...

Never understood the intensity of your dislike for Marbletown... I think it has become a classic and would be sad if it was dropped !

by the way, i will try to keep track of the new songs vs last show and amount of different tracks played. done it for the first two shows (there is is still easy)

I think Mark will keep it coming on this tour!! He is getting warm now. :clap

Honestly, I like his talking voice, too, BUT: I prefer him playing Sultans like last night any time - compared with all this "Doctor said.." "Swing at Macbeth"... stuff we heard EVERY single show in 2010... i swear, if that boring, sleepy Macbeth stuff (like he did before Redbud Tree last year) comes up again, I will leave the venue (for a pee break or something, but then again, that one would have been done during Romeo & Juliet).... I would love him to take that over from Bob, really! So Mark, better shut up and get on fire on Sultans and the others! ;D

Also great, from the same uploader, WHAT IT WAS IN ISTANBUL. And I always thought only ze Germans would clapping like that during a show...
but hey, Mark plays without the usual mistakes he is making these days...great powerful outro... maybe they had a good Shisha that afternoon...

They could drop Marbletown and fit in a couple of great songs. It's just a waste of over 10 minutes. Makes me cringe every time I think of that and how they could fill that time. It's a crime.
Never understood the intensity of your dislike for Marbletown... I think it has become a classic and would be sad if it was dropped !
I suppose it is pretty intense! Even at the concerts my mind wanders and I begin to take in the interior of the venue or the instruments etc. At over 10 mins I could maybe take a book this year!

" Issac wrote in his blog that there was no band intro in Bucharest. I sincerely hope MK is still talking to the audience. I'd miss his little jokes and interactions. I also hope he starts to introduce the band in the future."
So Mark, better shut up and get on fire on Sultans and the others! ;D
LE
Yes, I agree, LE, about the same old jokes, but I think it is only common courtesy to introduce the band members, because not everyone in the audience are so well informed as we are - besides I still love hearing him speak to us! ;)
-
It was epic yesterday night. Mark and his company were absolutely fantastic. I have some records which I can share with you guys soon. I have TR, BIA and SOS. I was just in the very front of stage, so colud see the way he played, the way he put so much of him while playing. I Still think he could interact with the audience though. I was expecting for Going Home, but SFA is also cool for me. I'm wondering if they'll ever play OES throughout the tour.

"...on and on we go..." TELEGRAPH ROAD from Istanbul... unusual format, but pretty good sound, with some talking....
I really think about ordering the Istanbul stick... 8)

I agree with you pensaboy. Except the songs of Privateering, he plays always the same solo songs : hill farmer blues, sonny Liston, marbletowm, what it is, speedway. I bet that Bonaparte will be back soon.
And the same thing for dire straits songs : Rom

I would say the VERY good news is that Mark Knopfler is touring in Europe in 2013 and that a lot of us have the chance to see him playing live!
I for my part am looking very forward to my shows. The Istanbul show has had obviously a new level of perfection, everything I saw and heard (only from YT) is really great, nothing to moan about. I prefer a well-oiled good played rocking version of Speedway or Hill Farmer any time over experimenting with new songs that don't work live (like my album favourite Miss You Blues 2012) and destroy the sequence of a very carefully adjusted set list with a lot of dynamics. The glass is half full. ;)

I consider this as a lack of respect for fans that buy tickets to see him at every tour since 1996.
He doesn't owe us fans any respect nor does he owe it to the masses.
Plus, EVERY of the" longtimereturners" is at least one diehard fan's favorite that cannot be skipped in that person's opinion...
Yes, I also think Mark's great inspiration for writing new songs is absent when he's playing live,
BUT
if anybody ows respect,
WE owe HIM the respect for still touring, for still writing new songs etc.
Just as LE wrote it above...

I read the ER forum most days and it seems that Mr Bob has adopted MK's static setlist theory! During the MK/BD tours, Mark was heavily criticised over there, but now that Bob seems to be doing the same thing on his tour, suddenly it's the best thing since sliced bread! Quite funny really! ::)
MOAT - I agree, we do owe him respect for still writing wonderful songs and going out on tour every couple of years or so to give us such pleasure! I think setlists do look pretty boring written down, but in reality, when Mark and the band are playing in front of us, it is a different matter - even SFA is pretty wonderful to hear at the end of a show - I would still prefer Going Home or Piper, though, but no matter, I'm happy! ;)

So if MK found the perfect combination, would that stop all of the moaning on this forum? I don't think so somehow! And how long before they start complaining on ER, because some people over there will get a bit restless soon!

Surely everyone should have respect for one another? It's common decency!
I regard the set choice as thoughtless, perhaps even bordering on a lack of respect. Mark surely know that he has a loyal fan base, a lot of whom have attended shows every tour for years and to churn out the same songs year after year isn't very fair. He also knows that a lot of us go to multiple shows, nutters that we are!
I am loving the energy though. Go Mark! :thumbsup

He doesn't owe us fans any respect....
there is people who by the mere fact of being a fan claims by the artist as if it was his right. the "job" of the fan is to give, not to ask. one becomes a fan not as a favor to the artist but to satisfy his own need. demanding has nothing to do with being a fan since the artist doesn't "owe" anything. certainly he can do something to please the fans but this is not his duty
-
Did you guys check Guy's diary for Istanbul? It's enjoyable to read. I guess they had so much fun with that boat tour.
By the way, as far as I read on Turkish pages, some people were not satisfied that much with SOS, claiming that they expected more. (Solo was shorther, piano part eas not included etc.)
The venue was great but i wished it was in open area since the weather was great. Back in 2008, the concert took place just by The Bosphorus.
Crowd was really nice, I could say the average age was around 40. In the end, a guy behind me threw Fenerbahce tshirt to stage. (Fenerbahce basketball team plays in that venue)
We really thought they'd come up to stage for second encore, hoping that they could play Going Home but they didn't. :)
Pics and videos are coming soon.
-
I'm glad you had a good time, scudetto and welcome to AMIT!
The version of SOS that MK plays these days is the original, stripped down version, without the piano interval, so perhaps those people who were disappointed expected to hear the long version.
-
I agree, MK doesn't owe us anything.
Even if I am very disappointed by the setlist I do not demand anything.
At the same time I have every right to be disappointed and am entitled to my opinion.
Of course! :thumbsup
the fan has the right to comment, to criticize, to complain ..... and then, to stop going to concerts, to stop buying albums,.....until to stop being a fan, without prior notice and without having to send a cancellation ;D

Thanks so much for posting that Jarle! I don't care what anyone says about the set lists...I'd love to fly over there to a show just to see him play the ol' standard single..Sultans..like that! New energy in an old song..feels like 1979 all over again :clap

Hello LE,
As for your question, here is a sample of how the venue looks like:
The audience in the pitch was standing, the rest in tribunes were all sitting, but through the end, they all might've stood up to wave. :) I can say we had around 10.000-12.000 people in venue.
I purchased my ticket when it was first announced by the official site. (September 2012)
While I went to get my ticket yesterday afternoon, I was given an envelope with an early pass card in it:
With that card, I was one of the people (first group) who walked in the venue. So it was great to pick a spot in the very front. I sat there until the show begun.
Ps: I checked and compared the ticket prices with other countries and I can say we pay more than you guys. :smack
-
Thanks for the photos. Cool pass by the way! 8) Maybe that's why you paid more - we'd never get anything that cool. ::)
-
Hey Scudetto, thank you!

I paid around 160 Euros.
Checked the prices with some countries (Romania, Croatia, Italy,Serbia,Slovenia and Germany). Ours was double price than those.
Anyways, it was 100% worth it. I'm thinking of ordering this usb stick although I find the price quite expensive.
Oh, and I bought this as well:

I know what you mean - the cherry on the cake!
160Euro is expensive. Almost double what we paid here in the UK if I recall (it was a while ago now).
Talking of shirts, I see Mark also has a new shirt for the tour. A nice royal blue, I think. Maybe with a metallic/shiny element to it. :-\ Difficult to tell under the lights when he plays his thing.

Postcards is a nice surprice in the setlist!!! I'm hoping for a few more this tour!!! Apart from the songs of the new album still a lot off songs from the last tours......... But i am happy with Postcards and Father and Son!!!

I paid the very same for Bucharest, row 1 or 2 guaranteed.

LE,
Yes I have been living in Istanbul for 8 months.
As for your other question: No, this is my first time. I couldn't get the chance of seeing him in 2008. Plus, you all are very lucky to be able to travel within Europe. We have to apply for a visa and that makes seeing more than 1 show in different cities quite hard. I wonder why he gives only 1 concert in Turkey. We have a huge population of MK/DS fans whereas I see other countries have more than 3-4 concerts in different cities. :(

Hey guys! :)
I couldn't get internet connection during or after the concert to update you. So sorry for that.
The concert was fantastic. I can't believe Mark is in that great shape. Far better than the 2010 concert that I attended in Amsterdam.
So here's my story:
Turkey is one of the ony 4 countries that allow Kosovo citizens to travel without a visa, so I was very happy to hear when the tickets went on sale. It was my first time in Istanbul so I had to plan everything, which I did. But then the venue changed to the Asian side of Istanbul and I had to re-plan everything, but I'm glad that it changed. I got to walk around Taksim square, Istiklal street, take the ferry to the Asian side, walk around the market at Kadikoy, eat some deliciusTurkish Doner, drink

Thanks a lot to you all for these amazing reports. It is a pleasure to read them.
Whenever MK is on tour a real thrilling time begins, there are these wonderful messages & pictures by us "get-a-lifers", the diaries and, of course, the anticipation of seeing some shows in foreign cities.
And yes, that is not my dream setlist too, but after some "youtubing" I learned that MK is in better shape than, perhaps even better than 1996? I don't know, they really have fun up there on stage.
I'm really looking forward to the shows I'm going to visit now!

Maybe not better shape than 1996, this was really the best of all... I would say similar shape as 2005. Which gives Mark no excuse not to play TR the way he used to in 2005 !
-
Maybe we should calm down a bit. Mark's definitely not 2005 levels yet. The first concerts are always more energetic than the last ones, just compare them from every tour. The bands' performance also improves though and becomes sharper over that same period so one has to be balanced with the other. Let's just see how this transpires...
-
Hey herlock,
you are officially allowed to call me strange, but I like the way TR is played now. To me, it adds some kind of tension.

Yeah, I agree, maybe not 2005 level yet.
2005 was great energy, fast pace (except for WOL, but who cares) with a very stripped-down band: no flute, ni violin... just guitar, bass, keys and drums. It was better in some ways (see the abuse of flute/pipes nowadays), and also maybe lacking something (the interlude in WII was less elaborated). I still listen to WII and TR from Lyon 2005 as the best versions ever...
-
Many thanks for your report, GennT! It is always good to hear from someone who was at the show. I'm really looking forward to mine now! Glad you enjoyed it all! :)

I don't hate it for sure (is there any bad version of TR ?) but two things really disturb me since 2008:
- The slower pace overvall and of the final solo (just listen to Lyon 2005 and you'll see what "out of this world" means)
- The "karaoke mode" after "rolling river", where the first guital solo is replaced by some cittern dull rants. Can't stand it.
Other than that, I like it... but it is one minute shorter than before !! ??
-
They played so far away and i fell to the floor. That was really fantastic for me.
Live long Marky. And come back again.

I'll listen to Lyon 2005 soon, thanks for the hint. And, okay, I do dislike the cittern!
But, dear dmg, my very own expression has always been like this: first shows are a bit rusty, then his playing gets better and better - although he sometimes settles into auto-pilot, depending on his mood I reckon.

"This is Irish Boy. It's a very old song." - "It's not from Privateering?" - "No no, it's very old..." :wave
One of the things that will never end up on an official mp3 stick...
This "Irish Boy" could be my absolute favourite of the tour. I am not sure if Mike has ever contributed better stuff to Mark's music since he is on board... the sound of what he plays is so clear, loud and nice, I love it.

Haha that would be me talking with the other guy. I knew the song was from the Cal soundtrack but didn't which one.

Hey herlock,
you are officially allowed to call me strange, but I like the way TR is played now. To me, it adds some kind of tension.
http://www.youtube.com/v/ihQoekCxnXA?version=3&autohide=1
What makes the song different to me compared with other tours is in the way he sings it. Unfortunately he seems to been influenced by Dylan in a bad way. He just puts the words out like he

Some enjoyable notes: (Hope you like it.)
- Show started twenty minutes late than it was supposed to. Whenever a random guy stepped into stage for some modification of instruments, people were applausing.
- Mark didn't interact with the audience. He only yelled: "Is everyone okay out there?" and after he's done with What It Is, he said :"It's great to be here in this beautiful town twice".
- When he was just about to start the new song, a random guy shouted as hell in Turkish, it was so loud, I guess everyone in the venue may have heard of him. He said: "You are the man, Mark!" (But in a funny way of saying in Turkish)
- While singing SFA, he put Istanbul in lyrics : "Here I am again in Istanbul town!"
- When it's finally over, Mark left his giutar and everyone was shouting like: "Stop! Mark!, Don't go! (In Turkish), Nooo!,"
- After the party is over, everyone left the venue and it was so crowded outside, a guy was playing SOS in his car so loud that everyone was clapping for him.

Many thanks, scudetto, for all of the pics, commentaries and notes -- it is all great stuff!!

Thanks for the information, that makes a life-concert unique !!
And thank you all for the photos and videos !!
-
His vocal range is way too small. But on TR he hits "all the way" with a hasky voice! Fantastic! I really don't get his first part lacking the elecctric guitar parts???
And how come he is playing with a cord and not a cordless connection in his guitar?
-
He plays with cable (or plugged-in) since the 1996 tour (again). Cordless connections were usual during BIA and OES tour at least.

Maybe the frequency is too close to that of the in-ear thingy's. ??? Or the police waveband! ;D

Naif... I literally laughed out loud!!! :D ...No wonder why he seemed so loud. ;D
My other (unmentioned) comment was that it's great to hear fans enjoy themselves!!! :thumbsup
Glad you had a great time -- the concert must have been absolutely amazing, and I really can't wait until my concert dates in mid July!!!

Listening to Speedway I am quite puzzled - I don't know if it is the mix or something, but I have the impression to be back in 2006 - no flute whatsoever interfering with the guitar ! as if Mike was not on stage !! ?
By the way the show is the best I have heard in a LONG time: plenty of energy... great WII, Sultans, TR, Speedway, Marbletown, even CMG...
And, last be not least, if you listen carefully, you can hear the "paraguuuuaaaayyyyy !", albeit not very loud, on Postcards :)
All in all a great show. I love TR from this one, glad to see MK can still play this one fast. Too bad for the first solo in "Karaoke mode"....
