I think it would make a great story for a Movie!!

"Get Carter" was based on a book written by Ted Lewis entitled "Jack's return home"..a book loosely based on organized crime in the Newcastle area in the late sixties and early seventies. I couldn't find anything though directly connecting the book to the murder case.
